I'm now trying to adapt back to the life in Singapore. haha, guess it's kind of difficult, didn't expect myself to feel weird at all those familiar stuff I know clearly of:
- Felt weird bathing with naked feet (w/o slippers)
- Stared at my hairdryer for a while thinking "Is that a hairdryer?"
- Stared at my cupboard thinking "Why does the cupboard look so different?" I even tried to recall how does my cupboard look like before I leave.
- Multiplying the prices in shops by five and complaining how expensive every item is.
- Super hot. Complaining every minute.
- Sweating like crazy, missing the weather in Chengdu.
- Felt that Singapore is soooooo quiet, thinking "Where are all the horning?"
- Actually stared at the ants on the floor and felt that I've never seen ants before.
- Feel weird sitting on cushioned chair.
- "Why is the food not spicy? I need spice."
- "I want to squat, not sit on toiletbowl."
- Chicken & fish with no bones. :D
- Portion look small and even felt weird not sharing with anyone.
- "I NEED AIR-CON!!!!!" *screams*
- Everything is so not worth it here anymore.. :(
- No more smoking smell anywhere I go! :DDDDDDDD (but actually felt weird.. hahaha.)
- CLEAR NOSE WHEN WAKE UP! :DDDD
- Forgot the places in NP. Actually have to ask people for the direction for toilet. (Helloooo, it's my school, I've been there for one year already. -.-)
- When people asked for direction, my mind is mapping out UESTC (Uni in Chengdu) instead of NP. =.=
- Felt weird wearing FBT now. hmmm :/
Another mindset I have to change: Just stop comparing the price over there and here!
The moment the plane touched down on the runway at Changi Airport, totally can feel sadness and felt totally unbelievable. I survived five weeks of polluted air in China, rode a bicycle on their dangerous and so unorganized road, immune to horning already, got used to walking long distance, climbing the stairs of five storey high every single days. But, everything still feels like it's just yesterday that I touch down in Chengdu.
Times just fly pass like that. Five weeks. Seems so long, yet so short. Trip oversea with friends are really great, I want another one. But maybe, not another long one, cause it's so hard to adapt back after that five weeks there.. hahaha.
But nevermind, I guess I'll adapt back quickly, cause I adapt really fast. :D hehehe.
The funny part is, when we were in Chengdu, we don't mind walking around the school, but when we came back, we felt totally reluctant to walk around in NP, when UESTC is like 10 times bigger. LOL
Then, slowly, this trip will feel like a dream to me..
But for now, I still have to do Report, Presentation and prepare for EM3A exams for this two weeks. haha.
Wednesday is not a good day, have to hand in report on that day. Mr Teh, please Ace our IS. :D hahahaha.
Can't believe I survived writing (blogging) journal every single day when I'm there. I can't even do that for my own blog. hahaha. Guess I have to be forced to achieve it. :P
Okay, it's getting too wordy. Bye. :)
